Sister Joy O’Grady, President
Sister Joy entered the Congregation in 1970. She has been involved
in social work and individual, family and marital counseling for
almost 30 years. A graduate of Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame,
Indiana, she has a master’s in social work from the University of
Michigan.

Sister Ruth Marie Nickerson, First Councilor
Sister Ruth Marie was the former president and chief executive
officer of Saint Agnes Medical Center, in Fresno, California, where
she served for 20 years. She has worked in nursing and hospital
administration for the past 35 years. She entered the Congregation
in 1961 from Washington, D.C., and received her B.S. and R.N.
degrees from Seattle University. She has a master of science degree
from the University of Colorado.
Sister Geraldine Hoyler, General Treasurer
Sister Geraldine served as senior vice president of Finance and
Treasury for Catholic Health Initiatives in Denver, Colorado, for
eight years. She entered the Congregation in 1963 from Evergreen
Park, Illinois, and ministered in various financial and treasury
positions throughout her career. She holds bachelor and master of
science degrees from the University of Denver, and is a certified
public accountant in the state of Indiana.
Sister Mary Louise Full, General Secretary
Sister Mary Louise was formerly the area coordinator for Holy Cross
sisters in the southern United States and Mexico. A high school
teacher and principal, she has also been involved in retreat work
and pastoral and parish ministry. She entered the Congregation in
1960 from Hyattsville, Maryland, and is a graduate of Saint Mary’s
College in Notre Dame, Indiana. She holds a master of arts degree
from Catholic University and a master’s degree in Christian
spirituality from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska.
Sister Pushpa Teresa Gomes
Sister Pushpa was the novice director and formation coordinator for
the Sisters of the Holy Cross in Deepaneeta, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Previously, she taught in parish schools in urban Dhaka and the
village districts of Kulaura and Jalchatra, where she also did
catechetical work in the surrounding villages. Entering the
Congregation in 1980 from Dhaka, she holds bachelor’s degrees in
liberal arts and in education from Dhaka University and later
completed a bachelor’s degree in theology at the Institute of
Philosophy and Religion in Pune, India. |
