Ministry With the Poor

Ministry With the Poor funding helps teach people the skills they need to be self-sufficient  in eight countries around the world. 

The Ministry With the Poor/CSC Fund maintained by the Sisters of the Holy Cross reflects these attributes in the projects approved for funding each year. The fund is a response to the sisters’ commitment to be in solidarity with the poor, the powerless and the marginalized in society, especially women and children.

* Ordinarily funding from the Ministry With the Poor Fund is partial to the project. Requests for funding are made annually and multiple-year funding is not guaranteed. Sisters are notified of approval by May 15 each year.
